Overview
The 500 Litre Bleaching Tank manufactured by QGI is specially designed for the chemical treatment and bleaching of cow dung slurry during the initial processing stage of cow dung paint production. This unit plays a crucial role in improving the quality of the raw slurry by removing odor, discoloration, and unwanted impurities, ensuring a cleaner and more stable base material for further formulation. The controlled bleaching and mixing process helps achieve a uniform slurry consistency, which is essential for producing high-quality, eco-friendly cow dung paint.
The tank is constructed using high-grade Stainless Steel (SS-304), epoxy coated Mild Steel, or FRP, depending on plant requirements, ensuring excellent durability, corrosion resistance, and hygienic processing conditions. The cylindrical vertical tank design with a conical or dished bottom facilitates smooth material flow and complete discharge after processing. It is equipped with a heavy-duty agitator system powered by a 1 HP, 1440 RPM three-phase electric motor, which drives a stainless steel shaft fitted with two or three blade propellers for efficient mixing and uniform chemical reaction within the slurry.
For operational convenience and safety, the bleaching tank includes a top hinged or detachable cover with an inspection opening, allowing easy monitoring and maintenance. The system is provided with a 2-inch stainless steel ball valve or bottom drain valve for smooth discharge of the treated slurry. Additional accessories such as a level indicator, sampling valve, manhole, and vent connection enhance operational efficiency and process control. The unit is mounted on a strong skid or leg-mounted frame with anti-vibration pads to ensure stable operation in industrial environments.
