Overview
The QGI BOD Incubator is specially designed for controlled incubation of samples used in Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) testing of wastewater, effluents, and polluted water. It provides a stable temperature environment essential for accurate microbial activity analysis. Biological Oxygen Demand is an empirical laboratory test that determines the Relative Oxygen Requirement (ROR) of microorganisms present in water samples. Proper incubation under standardized conditions ensures reliable and repeatable results for environmental monitoring and compliance testing.
The unit features a double-walled, heavily insulated chamber to maintain precise temperature stability within a working range of 5°C to 50°C, with an accuracy of ±0.5°C. A Digital PID Temperature Indicator & Controller mounted on the front panel allows easy monitoring and adjustment during operation.
