Overview
The Single Shaft Mixer by QGI (Quantum Global Incorporation) is a robust and efficient industrial mixing machine designed for uniform blending of pulp, fibers, and other raw materials used in paper processing and related industrial applications. The unit is powered by a 5 HP heavy-duty three-phase electric motor, which drives the mixing shaft through a heavy-duty reduction gearbox. This gearbox ensures smooth power transmission, controlled rotational speed, and long operational life of the machine while maintaining stable performance during heavy-duty mixing operations.
The mixer is equipped with a single central shaft fitted with specially designed adjustable mixing blades made from cast iron or alloy steel. These blades are strategically positioned along the shaft to ensure thorough and homogeneous mixing of materials, preventing uneven distribution and ensuring consistent product quality.
The machine body is fabricated from high-grade Mild Steel (MS) or Stainless Steel (SS) depending on the application requirements. The sturdy construction provides excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, and long service life, making the mixer suitable for demanding industrial environments.
The mixing capacity is approximately 500 kg per batch, which may vary depending on the type and density of the material being processed. The typical mixing cycle time ranges between 10 to 15 minutes per batch, ensuring efficient production and improved process productivity.
For easy material handling, the mixer is provided with a bottom discharge arrangement, which can be operated manually or through a motorized gate for controlled and convenient discharge of the mixed material.
The entire unit is mounted on a rigid and vibration-free structural base frame, ensuring stable operation, minimal maintenance, and safe working conditions during continuous industrial use.
